Software Reprogramming – A Valuable Step in Diagnosing and Repairing Your Equipment

The John Deere Operations Center™ PRO Service one-year license enables you to reprogram your own equipment, that means more control. Whether you're updating software, fixing electronic issues, or adding new tech, you can handle it right in the field. It helps keep your equipment running and your work on schedule. You can also see what software is installed on your equipment. It further empowers you to keep your entire fleet running at its best with the information you need. Prepare software payloads and updates before you go offline, then reprogram or update controllers at your convenience—no need to rely on an active internet connection to keep your equipment running at its best.

1. Certain capabilities are not currently available. a. Remote Software Updates: Only select controllers on machines with 4G MTG. b. Remote Diagnostics: Only on machines with 4G MTG. c. Remote Software Reprogramming: Only select controllers on machines with 4G MTG. d. Interactive Solutions: The availability of Interactive Solutions are contingent upon access to a designated set of Machine Health Insights provided through Operations Center PRO Service. e. Readings, Recording, Tests and Calibrations: i. Certain engine-related tests and calibrations are not currently available. The following tests and calibrations cannot be performed using Operations Center PRO Service: 1. Liebherr a. ECU SCR Override b. DCU SCR Override c. Engine Hour Meter Calibration f. Software Reprogramming: i. Customers can reprogram, replace, or update controllers on John Deere equipment (some third-party compatibility exclusions may apply). Depending on the machine, users can do this wirelessly with a 4G MTG Modem or wired (may require compatible cables). 1. The following John Deere models contain Liebherr controllers which are not compatible and cannot be reprogrammed using Operations Center PRO Service: a. 204P, 304P, 324P Compact Wheel Loaders b. 1050J and 950J Dozers c. 9700, 9800, 9900, F9 900, and F9 1000 Self-Propelled Forage Harvesters ii. As of June 2026 the following John Deere products contain components that cannot be reprogrammed using Operations Center PRO Service: 1. Air Seeding Tools equipped with: a. DICKEY-john® Blockage system on MY2009 to MY2021 Air Seeders 2. Planters equipped with: a. Hydraulic ground drive on MY2004 to MY2021 Planters b. SeedStar™ Gen II, SeedStar XP, or SeedStar™ 2 on MY2004 to MY2021 Planters
