eHydro™ Hydrostatic Pump and Standard GRIP AWD for Serious Hill-Climbing Capabilities
The electronically-controlled eHydro™ traction pump powers wheel motors for enhanced performance and traction, especially in undulating terrain. This linkage-free design significantly reduces parts in the traction system and maintenance requirements. For even more capability in tougher conditions, the optional GRIP All-wheel Drive system provides power to the two rear wheels. This system transfers hydraulic fluid from wheels that slip to wheels that grip, increasing traction on both hills and side slopes.
Rugged, Reliable Stamped Rear Discharge Decks With Easy Tooled Notch Height of Cut System
A tough, stamped 10-gauge deck shell design provides strength, while a steel frame is bolted to the shell for even more added strength. The rear discharge design helps minimize clumping in lush conditions. Deck adjustments are simple using 2 15 mm wrenches and an easily identifiable notch system to accurately identify the height of cut selection.
On-Board Weight Transfer Optimizes Traction in Tough Conditions
When the going gets tough, operators can increase traction performance by utilizing the Weight Transfer setting within the TechControl display. A lower number on the setting puts more weight on the decks rather than the traction tires and enhances contour following. However, in conditions where the traction system needs an additional boost, the operator can select a higher setting and transfer more weight from the machine decks onto the traction tires, improving traction capabilities.
