A high capacity 58-volt, 3.56 kwh (MAX) Lithium-ion battery provides for up to 50,000 square feet of mowing on a single charge. These virtually silent machines open the operating window for earlier mowing and later evening mowing and are friendly to both operators and neighbors alike. A standard 700-watt charger fully charges the machine from 0% capacity to 100% capacity in 5-6 hours.

Easy Operation With Integrated Operator Presence Bail + Traction Clutch and TechControl Display

The operator presence bail is dual function, not only stopping the machine when releasing the bail, but also engaging the clutch and initiating machine forward movement when pulled leftward and pushed forward against the handlebar. In fact, all controls on Deere walk greens mowers move forward to initiate movement, including the electric PTO switch, speed control lever, and park brake disengagement. The standard passcode-protected TechControl display is intuitive, easy to use, and allows for controlling operational parameters such as mow speed, transport speed, cleanup pass speed, and turn speed.

Ball Joint Mounting System Provides Contour Following in All Directions

The Quick Adjust 5 cutting unit is mounted to the traction unit frame with a simple ball joint mechanism. This ball joint allows the cutting unit to rotate in all directions, fore and aft, side to side, and up and down to gently follow nearly any contour. It also allows the cutting unit to steer in cleanup passes, maximizing quality of cut. This ball joint, combined with the electric reel drive, means no mechanical linkage to restrict the cutting unit movement.
