Even Crop Flow with Overshot Cross Auger
The overshot cross auger improves windrow formation and cut quality by promoting even crop flow. Its aggressive design pulls in more crop from the edges, improving windrow uniformity and cut quality.
Modular-Designed Cutterbar
The John Deere cutterbar uses diagonal-cut, high-strength modules that can be individually removed without detaching the frame. Large idler gears transmit power between modules for durability, while reversible disk rotation and a shared oil reservoir enhance performance.
Uniform Windrow Formation
The R400 and R500 Platforms enhance windrow formation and uniformity with features like an angled frame for smoother crop merging, a rigid swathboard to prevent bunching, and tool-free adjustable forming shields that allow windrow widths from 36 to 85 in. (91.4 to 215.9 cm).
