Increased Performance and Durability with Cutterbar Protection
The mower-conditioner features several parts built to protect the cutterbar, enhancing cut performance and machine longevity. These include a low-profile design, gauge shoe, steel runners, rock guards, shear hub, overrunning clutch, and free-swinging knives.
Swap Out Knives Quickly
Changing dull or bent knives is no longer a time-consuming job with the John Deere quick-change knife (QCK) system. Simply insert the QCK tool into the disk and press down. The knives can be swapped out in seconds.
Crop Convergence System
The mower-conditioner utilizes a crop convergence system with open-style converging end drums. This system improves crop flow into the conditioner, minimizing recutting and clump formation. The design results in better mat consistency for conditioning and even windrow formation for more efficient harvesting.
