Operator Essentials
Conventional lever-operated mechanical controls arranged in an ergonomic antler-rack configuration and centralized machine-function switches provide for intuitive use. Auto-Shift Plus automatically shifts through roading gears without the need to use the inching pedal.
Foundational Circle Options
John Deere offers three circle options for motor graders: the premium circle, which boosts torque and speed while requiring minimal service; the single input circle for lighter‑load applications; and the dual input circle for heavier‑load use and improved gearbox durability. An optional slip clutch (standard on the premium circle) protects key components when the moldboard hits an immovable object.
Simple and Practical Maintenance
All daily service points are grouped on the left side of the machine for convenient ground-level access. On the right, periodic-service points including the engine oil, hydraulic, transmission, differential, and fuel filter bank are within easy reach. Cooling package minus stacked coolers plus hinged swing-out fan simplifies core cleanout.
