Extended Power Range
With an extended power range of 522 - 677 kW (700 - 908 hp), the option for up to two rear auxiliary drives produces a total of 902 Nm (665 lb-ft) maximum torque.
Fluid Management
The JD18 features new combustion technology to meet emissions regulations without requiring aftertreatment, eliminating the need for DEF and reducing fluid management. The high-pressure common rail (HPCR) fuel system allows the engine to deliver optimized fluid consumption.
Serviceability and Repairability
Designed with ease of service and repair in mind, the JD18 boasts hydraulic lash adjusters that offer a maintenance-free valve train. Improved John Deere model-based controls offer better diagnostic capabilities, more easily and accurately diagnosing the the target source of engine performance issues and reducing downtime.
